Path Engineering is Hiring an Electrical/Maintenance Technician Near Cape Girardeau, MO

Role

As an Electrical/Maintenance Technician (also known as Maintenance Electrician, Electro-Mechanical Technician), you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and modifying electrical systems and equipment. You'll diagnose and troubleshoot faults, replace inoperative parts, and ensure all equipment is in good operating condition. You'll also interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics, and determine methods and requirements for wiring circuits.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus completion of a certifying technical training program in electrical maintenance or an electrician's apprenticeship. Significant work experience in electrical maintenance may be substituted for the required education or training.
  • At least four years of progressively responsible experience in the electrical trade, including a thorough working knowledge of National Electrical Codes for installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and electrical schematics, and to use a wide variety of tools such as hand tools, power tools, drill press, band saw, welder, cutting torch, etc.
